New Arrival in Family

This Little Bundle of Joy came Chandrasekar Bava's Way and i wish him and all of CHIRALA my Best Wishes

Two awesome football matches......

Yesterday was an exhilarating exhibition of football for anyone even remotely associated with the sport.

Both matches of the Confederations Cup were beamed live and they certainly lived up to expectations. If the match between Mexico and Germany was a thriller, the final between Brazil and Argentina was Pure Joy as Samba Magic prevailed.

The final will always be remembered for players who like Riquelme, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Adriano and Gabriel Heinze providing a spectacular display. I confess that I had never really believed that Riquelme could actually play well and most of the attention was because of his similarity to another Argetine Playmaker. But yesterday I had to reverse my opinion as he produced a superb display under very difficult circumstances. I really look forward to watching him at Villareal from now on and hope that he shifts to a bigger club so that he can perform on the biggest stage of all, The Champions League.

Gabriel Hienze was as always at the top of his game notwithstanding the fact that Argentina conceded 4 goals. All of them were scored after Heinze was away drawn from the centre of goal by diversion. The tenacity and selfless display could have won him a winner’s medal if only his fellow defenders were half competent.

On the other hand, even if Argentina had ten Heinze’s or even Ferdinand’s, they could not stop the Samba force called BRAZIL. They were just a joy to watch. The quartet of Ronaldinho Kaka Robinho and Adriano were just too good and it would be interesting to see what happens when Ronaldo returns to the national team. I mean after seeing the first goal yesterday it would be a shame too see Adriano on the bench right?

The match between Mexico and Germany was a thriller as I said before and could have gone either way. Both teams were badly organised and neither side was strong in defence but showed amazing attacking skills in short spells. Ballack left his mark on the match with a great freekick but I do not see the point in him acting as a centre forward.

Football

I do not know what’s so special about the sport which has 22 players fighting over a single ball. But I can tell you so much....

It’s more interesting than any other game.

Once I start seeing a live football match on TV, I stay on that channel until the match is over and sometimes till the analysis is done. I guess I like football so much because it’s a really fast game and the skills which can be exhibited by some players are just mind boggling. And teamwork among talented individuals is clearly seen on the pitch in football more prominently than in any other sports.

I remember the match played in this season's champions league between Barcelona and Chelsea, where Ronaldinho scored an absolute beauty. He was on the edge of the penalty box with about 3 defenders and the goalkeeper right before him and he sort of did a jig. Yes, He danced around the ball and then curled it in from an incredible angle for one of the best goals I have ever seen. Other goals which come to mind are the Maradona goal of the century against England in the WC of 1986 and “The Free kick” scored by Roberto Carlos in a friendly against France.

So I guess football is more exciting and the action never actually stops and you have the added attraction of not having a succession of commercial breaks between the match. Added to this is the fact that you do not need much equipment to play the game ala cricket, hockey et al, all you need is a ball and you can start. The fact that the whole thing is over within two hours rather than going on for half a day is an added attraction. For a game with such a huge popularity, it’s surprising that its so simple and does not require complicated scientific equipment.

Whats does my Name say about me?

What does "Prasanth" mean?

Just found out from a site which not only explains the meaning but also gives a character sketch of the person.

This world is too harsh, crass and competitive for these types. Their reaction to the noise and confusion of the busy marketplace awakens the urge to escape into the quiet of nature or the seclusion they find in their own privacy. They need plenty of time to themselves. This private time should be spent reading, writing or contemplating the deeper and more meaningful aspects of life. They are poets and romantics by nature. Their idealism needs to be expressed among their own kind that they seldom, if ever, find. Being unable to find people that understand their deep feelings they turn inward and soon learn to keep their thoughts to themselves. From early childhood they begin to feel, if only unconsciously, that nobody understands them. In fact they do not even understand themselves, or their changing moods that are difficult to control.

If the world wasn't so fierce and aggressive these people could develop their natural skills as dreamers or idealists, providing mankind with a vision of peace, refinement and beauty. As it is they retreat into themselves and suffer the consequences of working environments that rob them of their peace of mind. If the rest of their mental make-up drives them into the normal work-a-day world then they can become difficult to work with because of their changing moods. They are so sensitive that at times they can be psychic, picking up feelings and thoughts from others and being affected by any form of discord in their environment. This is particularly so if they have no outlet through writing or other refined art forms. At times their thoughts can be quite disturbing. There is a mystical urge in these names that draws them to religious studies or the occult. They should be careful not to become lost in mysticism where theories and ideas pull them into realms of unreality.

When this happens they dream and speculate about fantastic stories that have no basis in reality and that keep them in a kind of trance. They should realize that idealism is useless if it cannot be applied to some specific and practical action. They are artists that are inspired by beauty. Their souls crave for affection and love. They have a deep side to their nature that invariably gets covered up by their spontaneous and accommodating natures. They would never consider hurting anything or anyone. Because they are so acquiescent they tend to lose their own individuality and over time they can lose their depth and become shallow minds seeking people purely for the comfort and association that they crave so much. They have an innocent beauty and charm, but if their minds are not cultivated along artistic and philosophical lines they become shy and introverted, going along with things without meaning or purpose. They are usually too sensitive to be disciplined and healthy, and succumb to diseases affecting the heart, lungs and bronchial organs as well as the fluid functions.

you decide and tell me if its acurate.

Sports Clangers

Well well well..............

Schumi has finally won a race.
Bangladesh has finally won a match.

How do we think of both these events in the same breath?

I mean Schumi is one of the most successful drivers of all time and the fiasco in
Indianapolis notwithstanding, he and the Ferrari team were not responsible for what happened. If the Michelin tyres were not up to the mark, changing the race circuit hours before the start of the race would be really unfair to teams which had prepared for the original track.
And can you imagine the media reaction if Bridgestone were not up to the mark and Ferrari had asked for a chicane to be introduced.

I remember this episode just weeks back when Ferrari were criticised for making Bridgestone make tyres only for their specifications and this had been sited as the cause of their decline this season.

So as far as the media goes, Ferrari can do no right and every action of theirs is criticised.

I am really happy for Bangladesh and the fact that they chased a reasonably high total further leads respectability to the fact that they deserved to win. I also genuinely believe that they should be allowed to keep their test status and people like Javed Miandad would do well to shut up and stop making controversial media statements. I mean if a team like Zimbabwe which had just won a handful of matches throughout its history can stay in the test league, so can Bangladesh.

Sharing a room in your office

What do you think is most painful in a shared room at office?

  • Someone playing girly songs and putting you to sleep
  • Some hysterical ass laughing out loud every 5 mins
  • Some eternally busy guy making you feel guilty
  • Some cribbo who just goes on and on about his problems
  • Some guy who writes blogs and then brags about it
  • Not finding a place to sit at all
  • Someone who reads others blogs and appears busy

Someone i know and his three-tier Equation

Now this does not happen everyday but let me tell you a story of a friend of mine.

He happens to have a three tier equation to all his Love problems.
And the worst part of the story is that all of them are his batch mates.

One: His tallest one is beautiful, belongs to his tribe and is real stinky.
Two: This one is well educated and seems to have a soft corner for him.
Three: Very bublii, can also be described as being more gella than the hero himself.

Now here comes his dilemma.
Should he disregard the smell and go for beauty.
Should he go for brains over beauty?
Should he settle for the easier ‘option’?

Any Suggestions!!
Maybe Hattori Hanzo can help him!!
