- A year where every purchase was made with a calculation at the back of my mind...easily the toughest financial year in my memory.
- When bro and me made professional judgements which turned out to be life changing.
- A year of so many conflicts with/between near & dear
- Was more sober that 2006 but drunken than 2007
- A year where a prudent sale of real estate would have set me up for life but..... I look upon that a lesson in life now :-)
- Lehman Bros went for toss to put everything around us in a spin
- Obama proving 'Yes! We can'
- Mumbai attacks bought India together like nothing ever could
- When bro finally went in for the PG madness...Bon Voyage Bro!!
- Having your personal life hang by a thread ...this does nothing for your professional life BTW ;-)
- Cricketers and Abhinav Bindra doing India proud
- Saying all the wrong things at the wrong time.

Whats the best place for a first date?
And to my knowledge both of them are not doctors.
And being in the Vela Despo mood that i am in rite now, i started thinking about the best place to have a first date.
So here goes my pattha-paisa on the topic.
1. A Park - Public and Private at the same time but too conventional.
2. Coffee Shop - another unimaginative place which might not be too private
3. Cinema - Again unimaginative but gives you more privacy esp if you are not a movie buff
4. Exhibition/Fare - Another favored Indian haunt but a bit too loud for my liking
5. Techno Conference - My fav as you can talk all you like while enjoying free food & goodies
6. Beach/Hill top/ Local Geographic Wonder - Again Like the park but atleast good for the scenic value
So here's my tribute for a couple who had a great time in the Labor room.
D&P May both of you have a wonderful life together.

Perfect Weekend
Sunday the 13th of March shall always be remembered by sports fans as the day
Firstly it was the India-England test series (which even with an Indian Victory in Sight was boring compared to the other fares on offer). Then it was the Bahrain GP where Alonso outsmarted Michael Schumacher for the chequered flag. After that it was a Rooney master class in a 2-0 win for Manchester United over
What a day!!!! PHEW
Saturday was spent sleeping and a trip to Bottles and Chimneys with Ki, Ka, A and F. Was another good day spoilt by a sprained wrist.
More weekends like this please.
